Claire Walmsley & Amos -
20-year-old Thoroughbred cross Amos had very low energy levels prior to his owner Claire switching him to Veteran Vitality. After just two weeks, Claire had already noticed a difference, reporting: “He is now a lot more playful with other horses, happily joining in for a gallop!” After another fortnight, Claire says: “There has been a great difference in energy levels, without him being ‘fizzy’. Overall great improvement – his coat is nice and shiny and his body condition has improved greatly.”

Helen Rennie & Floyd -
“Floyd has muscle atrophy due to six weeks of snow when he could not be ridden,” said Helen before starting the 18-year-old Westphalian Warmblood on the Veteran Vitality Challenge. After four weeks on the new diet, Helen describes: “Floyd has gone from being lethargic and dull to being energetic and interested in everything, with further improvement in muscle. I will be sticking with Veteran Vitality!”

Debbie MacPherson & Eric -
“He is starting to look really quite old now and I want him to get his ‘spark’ back,” was how Debbie described her 25-year-old Thoroughbred Eric before switching to Veteran Vitality. “His coat is dull and quite scurfy and his energy levels are low.” Four weeks after switching to Veteran Vitality, Debbie says: “I am so pleased with how well my boy is looking – particularly his coat as it has always been hard to keep looking bright and well. His energy levels are perfect.”

Geraldine Astbury & Delta Wind -
“Delta Wind lives out 24/7, and is an ex-racehorse and broodmare,” describes Geraldine of her 29-year-old Thoroughbred, Delta Wind. “Due to a kick, Delta Wind only has three incisors at the top, and she used to quid prior to using Veteran Vitality. Now she is a rejuvenated horse. She comes to meet you and trots down to the feed buckets with you. She’s never been better. She used to be stiff, but this is the best she has moved in years. Her rump is improving too. We’re totally converted”

Gillian Conroy & Fred -
“Fred is a very fussy eater, put soon polished off his first feed,” said Gillian just after starting the 24-year-old Irish Draught cross on Veteran Vitality. “The next day he cantered up the field for his feed, and by the end of the week his coat looked much shinier.” After four weeks, Gillian reports: “This is the only feed that Fred eats happily – I’m so pleased. He looks better now than he did in the autumn, and seems to be putting on weight from the front back. He has a lovely shine to his coat, and is more energetic, but calm.”
