The top ten British Show Jumping Association riders (as of the 31 December 2007) have been invited to appear at the British Open Show Jumping Championships this April.
Allen & Pages own William Funnell is one of the invited riders and will be battling against Britain’s best - John, Michael, Robert, Ellen and William Whitaker, Nick Skelton, Tim Stockdale, Robert Smith and David McPherson.
Reigning British Open champion Jessica Kurten will return to the NEC to defend her title and two further riders will win a place at the Addington Classic in March.
With £25,000 to the winner, the British Open (3-6 April) offers the biggest single indoor show jumping prize in Britain. The total prize-fund is £150,000.
