British Vaulting success in Leipzig

Joanne Eccles
Joanne competed on Worldman, to win the female vaulting title

Britain’s Joanne Eccles won the female Vaulting title at the Partner Pferd Show which took place in Leipzig from 17th to 20th January.

The show is a major event in the international calendar and this was the first year that vaulting had been added to the timetable. Joanne was invited to compete following her placing in the top twelve at the 2007 European Championships.

Joanne competed on Worldman, owned by Ruth Justock. She put on a steady performance in the first day of the competition to put her in first place over night. On the second day of competition all the Vaulters gave sound performances and most improved on their scores from the previous day. Joanne’s performance was enough to keep her in the lead and she took first place.

Congratulations to Joanne and her support team on this success.
