Saracen Sails to Victory on
Ride & Relax®
Saracen is a ten-year-old horse who lives in Lincolnshire, with mother and daughter duo Gail and Sarah Grout.
Saracen used to behave very badly in his younger days; so much so that his bolshy bucking and bronking became a legend around his Lincolnshire homestead. It wasn’t just his behaviour that was greatly noticable, but there were itches, lumps and bumps all over his skin, which hardly did wonders for his already unpredictable nature.
It wasn’t until Sarah discovered Ride & Relax® from Allen & Page that a real and significant improvement became apparent in Saracen. His temperament changed for the better, his skin cleared up and his hooves became strong, firm and sturdy.
Ride & Relax® helped Saracen to compete with power and grace at the British Riding Club’s National Championships at Lincoln Showground on September 10, where his performance secured his team’s victory in the Novice Showjumping. Although Saracen has been in the winning team for the past three years, this was certainly his greatest individual performance. Over the course of the day, Sarah and Saracen achieved four magnificent clear rounds.
Saracen was briefly switched to a different feed, but reverted to his old, bad behaviour. Sarah and Gail returned him to Ride & Relax® a few months before the Lincolnshire event, with unmistakable results.
