Plenty of action at Badminton

The Mistubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials may have been a little damp, but the weather certainly did not affect visitor numbers, with the whole event bustling with activity. The Allen & Page stand was situated out of the worst of the weather, in the World of the Horse marquee, and it was a busy show for the team. Feed Advisor Simon Daniels explains: “It was a busy four days on the Allen & Page stand and despite the rain there were plenty of people about.”
The event itself proved to be an interesting competition, finally won by Australian Paul Tapner riding Inonothing. Simon says: “It was an interesting leader board after the dressage, which was really shaken up by a tricky cross country course. It was then shaken up once more by the showjumping and the whole event was difficult to predict but very exciting.” Crowds were drawn to the Allen & Page stand for feeding advice from the Nutrition Team that was on hand all weekend. Pippa Funnell also proved to be a crowd-pleaser when she appeared on the stand on Friday and Saturday, to sign pictures, chat and give advice.
